Through the Advanced Apprenticeship (Level 3) Business, you can develop your knowledge and skills ready for a role of responsibility in a business environment, such as Administrator, specialist Secretary or Clerical Officer. The course covers key areas including performance management, communication, personal responsibility, information management and producing documents. The main Business components of your qualification are delivered in the workplace by one of our qualified assessor-deliverers.
All Business Apprenticeships are enhanced with regular Masterclasses delivered on-site at Yeovil College and also supported with virtual classroom and webinars.
You need at least two GCSEs at grade C, including English Language. If you do not have GCSE Maths or ICT at grade C, you will complete Level 2 Functional Skills qualifications. You need to be working in a relevant workplace and have the support of your line manager/employer for the duration of your Apprenticeship.
With this qualification and a good workplace reference, you can progress to higher level courses, such as the Advanced Apprenticeship (Level 3) Management. Your choice will depend on your job role and career ambitions. You can also apply for employment in roles such as Administrator, Legal Secretary, Medical Secretary or Clerical Officer.
