This Apprenticeship provides you with the necessary skills to carry out general IT duties in areas such as fault diagnosis and repair, customer relations, programming, systems analysis and database management. There is the option to follow a hardware or programming pathway. The Level 4 develops skills learned at Level 3 and prepares you for managing ICT systems.

To join the Advanced course, you need GCSE Maths and English at a grade C or above and a work placement.
Successful completion of the Advanced Apprenticeship could lead to a Foundation Degree, such as those available at a Univeristy Centre, or a Higher Apprenticeship in ICT.
