You will expand your knowledge through essential work experience placements, which includes nurseries, pre-schools, registered childminders and school reception year classes, and through innovative and interactive sessions.

Level 2 - You will need four GCSEs at grade 3 (D) or above, including 4 (C) or above in English or maths.
Level 3 - You will need five GCSEs at grade 4 (C) or above, including 4 (C) or above English and maths.
One Year - Certificate
One Year - Diploma (after successfully completing Certificate)
You can progress to a Foundation Degree or Honours degree in Early Years Sector at university.
You will complete assignments, most of which are set internally and marked internally. One assignment on the Certificate and the Diploma is externally set and externally marked. Work experience is also assessed, through a practice portfolio and observations.
You will complete a range of different modules, themed into the following four topics:
