Electrical Installation (Building & Structures) - (Trainee/Intermediate Trainee)


Introduction to this course

This study programme covers a wide range of electrical installation topics, including Health & Safety, electrical principles, practical installation, inspection and testing and faults diagnosis.


This programme is timetabled for three days a week to allow you to undertake part-time work experience to support your learning and training.

Entry Requirements

Trainee - You will need four GCSEs at grade 2 (E) or above, including English and maths. Work experience may also be taken into account.

Intermediate Trainee - You will need four GCSE 4 (C) or above, including English, Science and maths and appropriate practical experience or have completed a trainee qualification.



Career Prospects

When you successfully complete this qualification, you can progress in a related area or an Apprenticeship.
