If you want to start a career in the Hospitality & Catering industry, this is an excellent introduction. This study programme will develop your skills in professional cookery and restaurant service to a level which will enable you to be prepared for a future in the hospitality industry. In addition students will be taught Food Hygiene, Basic Health & Safety and employability skills.
There will be relevant trips throughout the year, as well as end-of-year excursion and you will complete at least sixty hours of work experience as part of this study programme.

You will need three GCSEs at grade F or above including English and maths and a keen interest in the Hospitality and Catering industry.
1 Year Course
Upon successfully completion you can progress to a full-time, Level 2 study programme or an Apprenticeship in either Professional Cookery or Professional Food & Beverage Services.
Your progress will be assessed though practical assessments, short answer tests and written assignments.
