Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair – Level 3

Introduction to this course

This programme prepares you for a Technician role in the industry.  You will learn the practice and theory of advanced computer-based fault diagnostics and how to make more complex repairs.  The study programme covers how to recognise and mend faults in a variety of areas, including the engine, chassis, transmission and driver line and electrical systems.

Entry Requirements

You must have completed the Level 2 programme to be accepted onto the Level 3 qualification, and you must have gained English and maths at grade C or above or the appropriate functional skills at Level 2.
