Yeovil Town Football Club Elite Player Development Programme in partnership with Yeovil College - Level 3

Introduction to this course

Whilst enrolled on the YTFC Elite Player Development Programme, you will complete a Sport study programme at Level 3 (equivalent of 2 or 3 A Levels), usually over a two or three year period.

Players will also have the opportunity to obtain additional coaching qualifications alongside their programme and will receive tutorial support for their next progression. Progression examples include a career within professional football, community football coaching, further studying within football, PE or sport whilst at university or on an apprenticeship, a USA Football Scholarship or embarking on a further football development programme. All lessons will take place at Yeovil College.

Football Training with YTFC is held on Tuesday and Thursday. Past performance by players on this programme has led to selection to train with the YTFC 1st team as part of their ongoing development. Matches take place within the south-west region on Wednesdays and also on Saturdays (if selected). Players also have the opportunity to undertake strength and conditioning support.
