You need to be working in a training or assessing environment.
A candidate-IQA will need to show that they have provided support for a minimum of two assessors. Each of these assessors needs to be assessing two candidates. It is the responsibility of the candidate-IQA to locate these assessors and their candidates. Additionally, the candidate-IQA must have the support of an occupationally competent and qualified Internal Verifier who will be responsible for counter-signing all the decisions made by the candidate-IQA. Please note that the College does not provide for these requirements.
This course takes six to 12 months. This is a bespoke course. Enrol and start anytime.
On completion of this course, you will be qualified to quality assure assessors and assessment process, meaning you can fulfil a quality assurer role in a training organisation.
You will be expected to provide work products and reflective accounts to evidence the support you have given your candidates. You will also be observed in practice and complete a professional discussion.
