Entry Requirements

A candidate-assessor will need to assess a minimum of two candidates. It is the responsibility of the candidate-assessor to locate these candidates. All candidate-assessors must have the support of an occupationally competent and qualified Assessor who will be responsible for counter-signing all decisions made by the candidate-assessor. Please note that the College does not provide for these requirements.


Duration of this Course

This is a one year course. This is a bespoke programme. Enrol and start anytime.


Career Prospects

When you successfully complete this course, you will be qualified to assess learners in the workplace or a vocationally-related environment. Following this course, you may like to progress to an Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) qualification.


How will I be assessed?

You will be expected to provide work products and reflective accounts to evidence the support you have given your candidates. You will also be observed in practice and complete a professional discussion.

Unit 301: Understanding the principles and practices of assessment

Unit 302: Assess occupational competence in the work environment

Unit 303: Assess vocational skills, knowledge and understanding
