How many guests can I bring to the ceremony?

Your first three guest tickets are assured. You will indicate on your Registration Form whether you would like additional guest tickets (e.g. two extra), which may become vacant. We cannot guarantee you will receive all the tickets you request.



Can you accommodate my guest using a wheelchair?

Of course! Please indicate on the Registration Form that you have a guest using a wheelchair and individual arrangements will be made at the venue. Alternatively, contact the team at: 01935 845474. We regret that we cannot accommodate late requests for wheelchair spaces due to the fixed nature of the seating, so please ensure you mark clearly on the Registration Form if you require such a space.



Can you accommodate late requests for guest seating?

Due the fixed seating arrangements at the venue, we cannot guarantee that we can accommodate late guest requests. All persons present in the ballroom must be allocated a seat, therefore seating may become full as the date of the ceremony approaches.



Can I bring children to the ceremony?

Yes, as long as they are accompanied by a responsible adult. Because the ceremony is planned to be ninety minutes, it may not be appropriate to bring young children.


Children under two years of age do not require a guest ticket and may sit on an adult's lap.




What should I do if my results are not due to be published until after the date the registration form has to be returned?

You should still submit your Registration Form by the due date. Attendance is strictly on the proviso of you passing your course and pass lists are checked before tickets are allocated and sent. If you are in the unfortunate situation of not being eligible to attend the ceremony, you will be able to claim a full refund.



I have mislaid the details regarding my robe order and/or my robe confirmation email. What should I do?

When can I expect to receive my tickets?

Tickets will be sent out in the week commencing 14th October, 2019. We withhold distribution until this time in order to give each learner the greatest chance of obtaining their results in time.



I am not able to attend the graduation ceremony, what happens to my certificate?

Your certificate is available for collection at the venue on graduation day. If you prefer, or if your certificate is not collected, it will be sent to your last recorded address by recorded delivery. If you have not received this within four weeks of graduation day, please contact the awards team by phone at 01935 845454, or email: university.centre@yeovil.ac.uk


Please note, for some awards, you may be sent your certificate direct from the awarding institution. These award certificates are not available to collect on the day.
