Yeovil College and Yeovil Town FC Announce Performance Football Development Days at Huish Park This October Half Term
Yeovil College’s Institute of Sport and Yeovil Town FC (YTFC) are inviting aspiring male and female footballers, who are currently in Year 10 and 11, to attend the Performance Football Development Days at the home of Yeovil football, Huish Park.
Taking place at Huish Park for the very first time, the Development Days will give young players the opportunity to showcase their talent, train with experienced coaches in a professional football environment, and gain an insight into the new Football Performance & Development Pathway.
While the Development Days have previously welcomed both male and female players, this year marks a significant milestone with the introduction of a dedicated progression route for aspiring female footballers, giving them the same opportunity as their male counterparts to join the Football Performance & Development Pathway delivered by Yeovil College and YTFC.

Male: Wednesday 28 October 2026, 10:00am to 12:00pm

The Development Days provide a first-hand look at the Football Performance & Development Pathway, a partnership between Yeovil College and YTFC designed to support talented footballers both on and off the pitch.
Students on the pathway study a Level 3 BTEC in Sport Coaching & Development at Yeovil College alongside an intensive football training and fixtures programme delivered by Yeovil Town FC coaching staff and Yeovil College specialists, with activities based largely at Huish Park. The programme supports progression into university, apprenticeships, football-related careers, and the wider sports industry.
Subject to selection and league approval, players may also have opportunities to represent YTFC in competitive fixtures, including the National League Alliance U19s and the FA Youth Cup.
